Hi, again,
Sorry I missed posting last weekend. We were camping in the Tetons--one of my favorite places in the world--and not only didn't I have internet access, but cell phone reception was iffy, too. It's funny, realizing just how dependent we are on technology these days!

What a glorious place it is--incredibly rugged mountains rising out of flat terrain, beautifully clear lakes, wonderful trails. The best part was that our daughter and one of our sons was there, too. Family means everything! The Tetons-or rather, an area just south of them--provided the setting for the Steeple Hill Love Inspired Suspense trilogy I had out this past winter. I half-imagined my characters coming up to say hello!

What are your favorite places to vacation? I'd love to hear about them. And I'd also love to hear from anyone who has favorite things to do and see in the San Francisco area--and favorite places to eat, too. As already mentioned here on the blog, the RWA conference will be there the last week of this month. It would be great to have some good recommendations!

Wishing you all the best,
Roxanne

I plan to see the redwoods while I am in California for the conference. That is a must for me. I'm just hoping the fires are contained by then.

My favorite places to visit are America's national parks. I have been to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks and to Glacier NP as well as the NPs in Utah. As for places in San Francisco...be sure to ride a trolley car and visit Ghiadelle square (ok that's mispelled) and of course the Golden Gate Bridge.

I wish for a vacation in the mountains. My husband loves to fish and scuba dive so our vacations always involve the Florida Keys or a cruise.
But someday . . . the west. :-)

And after that, Europe!

Im beginning to love canada going back in Sept. but in australia I love Western Australia. Perth is such a friendly laid back city. There are alot of nature areas very close to the city in fact Kings Park is right in the CBD area. And a lovely place to visit and sight see from.
Tasmania is another place I want to spend more time in but not this time of year. being winter its a really cold area but i may see snow there.
I hope you had a good vacation.

Jenny, it's so funny to hear you talk about snow this time of the year for us in the U.S. I have my air conditioning on and have to make sure my flowers are watered or they'll wilt! I'd love to see Australia though.

Ellen, I'm with you. I love the Nationals Parks. My husband and I love to go to the White Moutains of New Hampshire to camp. I just love the Kancamagus Highway!

Roxanne I would so love to see the Grand Teton. One of my older books was set in Wyoming and I fell in love with the area while doing the research!
