CNN Justice

So yesterday I was perusing the Internet and went to CNN. I like to see what's happening in the world. Up at the top I clicked on the Justice tab. It seemed like a good place to gather some story ideas. The first story I read was a cold case about a missing teenage boy. http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/18/grace.coldcase.swanson/index.html
I found this story disturbing on so many levels, mostly because I have a teen on the cusp of driving. My heart and prayers go out to the parents of this teen.

I wonder how do parents of teens balance protecting your child and giving them the freedom they crave?

I is not easy I have 4 children although they have families of their own now and see what I went through with them. I could never go to sleep untill there were home and they had a tiem to be home. IF they were late that got it from me...I worried all the time even thought the Bible says not too, we can't control tomorrow. but we are human and if we love our families I can't understand how anyone can not worry. I pray for them and leave then in God's hand.

You wear out your knees. I was bless because both my kids were good drivers. I know my son drove differently with me in the car, but he never had a wreck, but he did get a speeding ticket. It was a school zone.

Edna, yes, we are human and worrying seems to be the hardest thing not to do. As you say, pray for them and leave them in God's hands.
Good advice. Thanks.

Leann,
I will definitely be wearing out my knees. My kid is going to start driving training next month and I know that will give us both some peace of mind.

I listen to my friends and look at my four-year-old. Right now, it's the easy time. I am his favorite person. Someday his favorite people will be his friends. My biggest prayer right now is that the church youth group grows and grows. I want his friends to be from church.
