Top Ten Bestsellers of 2010

Pamela Tracy here, and I do like lists, probably because I make so many. My lists are boring:

[] Mikey to school by 8:00
[] Work by 9:00
[] Take papers to testing center by 12:00
[] Enter grades
[] Take library books back

Well, you get the idea.
Every end of year I look forward to seeing the top ten books. I like to see what I've read. There've been years where I've read most of them, and years when I've read none of them. So, without further ado, compliments of Barnes and Nobles tallying, here are the top ten fiction bestsellers of 2010. At the end of the day, I'll tell you which ones I've read. Fill free to check off the ones you've read (and think about whether you liked them or not , note the ones you mean to read, and speculate on the ones you're going to pass on.

[] Diary of a Wimpy Kid
[] The Girl who Kicked the Hornet's Nest
[] Mockingjay
[] The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner
[] Delivering Happiness
[] Decision Points
[] The Help
[] The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
[] Dead in the Family
[] The Girl who Played with Fire

I've read none of them. And, to be honest, I probably won't. There are a lot of books out there, really good ones, that attact me more. But I do like lists like this because they are an indicator of trends, of the direction the field as a whole is leaning.

I agree, Ramona, about trends. And, this list isn't just romance. I don't usually read self help, and I haven't read YA in awhile. I do read a lot of Biscuit and the Jigsaw mysteries, though.

Oy! I haven't ready any of them. Sheesh!

Interesting list. I've not read any of those either.

I've only read one. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. I found it disturbing. I want to read The Help, but haven't found it on audio. I read the first few books in the Dead series, but haven't read one in awhile. So, I'm at one.
