What do you like to see?

The great members of this blog have been talking behind the scenes about how to continually improve it and fill it with content you'll like.

I'm excited that I will be reviewing many of the Love Inspired Suspense releases, as well as other suspense -- though I have sweet-talked Robin Carroll to review my Love Inspired Suspense, Deadly Exposure. It was simply to strange to think about reviewing my own book! How can I be objective about it. I love it! (Can you see my very big grin?!?!)

So, I have a few questions for you. From those who leave a comment I will draw a winner to receive a copy of Deadly Exposure.

1) What kind of suspense do you like to read?
2) Who are your favorite authors?
3) What type of suspense books would you like to see reviewed?
4) Anything else that will help me select the books I review for y'all?

Thanks! And leave those comments. I'd love to send a copy of the book your way :-)

Ok Im new to suspense I didn't know the difference between mystery and suspense I do now. Mystery you dont know the bad guy, suspense you do but dont know what will happen next.

1) What kind of suspense do you like to read? I really want to read love inspired supsense. I need to order some from america as i haven't seen them in australia.
I dont like anything to dark or scary or graphic that will give me nightmares. The 2 I have just read i didn't know what was going to happen next and i liked that.

2) Who are your favorite authors?
This im not sure yet as I have only read 2 but both Athol Dickson and Sigmund Brouwer were good.
3) What type of suspense books would you like to see reviewed?
Im not really sure but the love inspired ones would be good and Newer ones.
4) Anything else that will help me select the books I review for y'all?
Sorry im not much help.

Your blog is delightful and I just located it. Best of success and luck.
1. Suspense is a favorite book selection of mine. I find it captivating in many ways. Most of all the buildup to the plot, the characters and their relationship and the writing style which is enthralling many times.
2. I have many favorite authors, Jacqueline Winspear, I enjoy greatly, Mary Doria Russell writes incredible novels which I love and Ellen Baker is another author whose books I find delightful.
3. Suspense book that would be reviewed would be contemporary or ones that involve a reunion, missing person or even a fave of mine, flashback to another era.
4. Your selection of popular and current books would be lovely and are a nice variety. Thanks so much.

Hi Cara! I would say that I enjoy historical suspense books. Three of my most favorite authors are: Agatha
Christie, Jane Kirkpatrick and Cindy
Woodsmill. Any kind of suspense book that you would review is great with me. I think reviewing current or soon to be released books are the ones I like to read reviews about. Thanks,Cindi

Great comments, gals. Thanks! You've given me a list of new authors to check out. It might take awhile since I've got overlapping deadlines in the early fall, but I'll definitely look into some of them. Keep the comments coming!

2. Favorites are Carla Cassidy, Barry Eisler, Jennifer Haigh.
3. All suspense books are appealing to review.
4. Variety of types, contemporary, historicals and current.
